About Scientific Calculator
Getting a strange answer from sine or cosine is nearly always a degrees-versus-radians mismatch. School geometry uses degrees; most programming and physics work uses radians.
Log without a subscript means base ten here, and ln is the natural logarithm to base e. Both are provided separately so you never have to convert between them by hand.
