About Pomodoro Timer
The Pomodoro technique splits work into focused sprints separated by short rests, with a longer rest after every fourth sprint. The structure exists to protect attention: knowing a break is coming makes it easier to defer distractions until it arrives.
The classic lengths are 25 minutes of focus and 5 minutes of break, but the right numbers are the ones you actually keep. Many people settle on 50/10 for deep work. Adjust the lengths above and the timer adapts.
