Scoring and how to win
- The wait before the colour change is random, between 1.5 and 5 seconds, so you cannot time it.
- Clicking before the change shows "Too soon" and that attempt does not count.
- After 5 attempts you see your best and average time in milliseconds. Most adults land between 200 and 300 ms.

About Reaction Time Test
Simple visual reaction time for adults averages roughly 200 to 250 milliseconds on a mouse. That includes the time for light to be processed by the retina, the signal to travel to the motor cortex, and your finger to move, so there is a physiological floor well above zero.
Screen refresh rate and input lag add real milliseconds too, a 60Hz screen alone can add up to 16. Compare your results against your own previous runs on the same device rather than against numbers from someone else's setup.
