About Morse Code Translator
Morse code was developed in the 1830s for the telegraph and encodes each letter as a pattern of short and long signals. It remained the standard for maritime distress calls — SOS (... --- ...) — until 1999.
The timing rules are simple: a dash is three times as long as a dot, letters are separated by three dot-lengths of silence, and words by seven.
