About Leetspeak Translator
Leetspeak (1337) began in 1980s bulletin-board culture, replacing letters with look-alike numbers and symbols. 'Elite' became '1337', and the style spread through early gaming and hacker forums.
It's a one-way transformation: different letters map to the same symbols, so leet text can't be reliably converted back.

- Basic swaps six common letters for numbers, Moderate adds more letters, and Extreme uses multi-character symbols like |-| for H.
- Can I convert leet back to plain text?
- Not reliably — many letters share the same leet symbol, so the mapping isn't reversible.
- Is leetspeak secure for passwords?
- No. Password crackers know every common leet substitution, so 'p4ssw0rd' is barely stronger than 'password'.
