About Unit Price Calculator
Bigger packages are usually cheaper per unit, but not always — promotional pricing on small sizes regularly beats the bulk option, which is why shelf labels show unit pricing. Comparing per-ounce or per-litre prices removes the packaging from the decision.
Comparisons are only valid in the same unit: ounces against ounces, litres against litres. If two products are labeled in different units, convert one first — the unit converter on this site handles that.
