How to use Block Drop
- 01Move the falling piece with the left and right arrow keys, or the on-screen arrows on a phone.
- 02Rotate with the up arrow and speed the piece downward with the down arrow. Press space for an instant hard drop.
- 03Fill a complete horizontal row to clear it. Clearing several rows at once scores far more points.
About Block Drop
Block Drop is a block-stacking puzzle where seven shapes fall one at a time into a ten-column well. Each piece can be moved and rotated as it falls, and any row you fill completely disappears, pulling everything above it down. The speed rises as you level up, so the game is really a test of how tidily you can plan under pressure.
Good players keep the stack flat and leave a single deep column open for the straight piece, which is the only shape that can clear four rows at once. Avoid creating covered gaps: a hole under a block cannot be cleared until every row above it goes, and holes are what end most games.
