About Word & Character Counter

Character limits are common in places that count differently: search result titles are cut around 60 characters, meta descriptions around 160, and many social posts count characters including spaces.

Reading time is estimated at roughly 225 words per minute, which is typical for adult reading of straightforward prose. Technical writing is usually slower.
