About QR Code Generator

A QR code stores its data directly in the pattern, which is why the codes here never expire and never route through a redirect service. Whatever you type is what a scanner reads.

Error correction lets a code stay readable when part of it is damaged or covered. Higher levels make the pattern denser but survive scuffs and logos, which is worth choosing for anything printed on packaging or displayed outdoors.

Keep printed codes at least two centimetres across with a clear quiet zone around the edge, and keep the URL short — a long address makes the pattern finer and harder for older phone cameras to read.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?
No. The data is inside the image itself, so a downloaded code works forever.
Can I use them commercially?
Yes, there is no watermark or license restriction on codes you generate here.
What size should I print a QR code?
Two centimetres square is a safe minimum for close scanning; scale it up for posters and signage.
