How to use Stopwatch & Timer
- 01Choose Stopwatch or Timer at the top.
- 02For the stopwatch, press Start, tap Lap to record splits, and Stop to pause.
- 03For the timer, set minutes and seconds, press Start, and wait for the time's up signal.
About Stopwatch & Timer
The stopwatch measures with centisecond precision using your device's high-resolution clock, so lap times stay accurate even if the tab has been open for hours. Laps are listed newest first so the latest split is always at the top.
The countdown keeps running while you switch tabs, because it tracks the clock rather than counting ticks. When it reaches zero the display flips to a highlighted time's up state.

- Yes. It tracks the system clock, so background tabs do not lose time.
- How many laps can I record?
- As many as you like — the list grows downward with the most recent lap first.
- Is anything saved or uploaded?
- No. Times exist only while the page is open.
