About Braille Translator
Braille encodes letters as raised dots in a 2×3 cell. This tool produces Grade 1 (uncontracted) Braille — one cell per letter — with the correct capital sign before uppercase letters and the number sign before digits.
Everyday Braille reading usually uses Grade 2, which adds contractions for common words and letter groups. This translator doesn't apply contractions.

- It's genuine Grade 1 Braille rendered as Unicode patterns — correct letter-for-letter, but without the contractions used in published Braille books.
