About Memory Sequence
Memory Sequence tests short-term sequence memory, which most people can hold to roughly seven items before it breaks down. Beyond that, players who keep going are usually chunking — grouping the pattern into pairs or triples rather than memorizing a long list.
Saying the colors aloud, or associating each pad with its tone, gives you a second channel to remember by and reliably adds a few rounds to a run.
