About Paddle Ball
Paddle Ball follows the simple format that helped launch the arcade industry: read the trajectory, position early, and commit late. The ball speeds up as a rally continues, so long rallies get harder rather than safer.
Hitting the ball with the edge of the paddle adds angle, which is how you move the opponent out of position. Returning everything from the center is safe but predictable, and against a tracking opponent predictable rallies never end in your favor.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I control the paddle?
- Mouse, touch drag, or the up and down arrow keys — whichever you prefer.
- How hard is the computer?
- It tracks the ball with a deliberate delay and small errors, so it is beatable but not passive.
- How long is a match?
- First to seven points. You can restart at any time.
